Director, Sales
Skytz software Labs is a leading Nevada-based product agency looking for a talented individual to join the team in the role of a Director, Sales. We are a 64-person team that has designed and developed over 250 products. We have a wide-range of capabilities that has seen us create products that span health and wellness, on-demand marketplaces, mobile gaming, IoT and VR/AR.
As a Director, Sales you will be responsible for finding and nurturing relationships with potential clientsâentrepreneurs, enterprises and agencies. This role will be both an outbound (pro-active) and inbound (reactive) sales effort. Outbound sales effort supported by existing and new marketing efforts (performed by other, pre-existing team members), email campaigns and other outbound techniques. Inbound sales will be supported by a pre-existing flow of inbound leads.
The day-to-day responsibilities of a the Director, Sales at Skytz Software Labsinclude:
- Manage a portion of the inbound pipeline of leads.
- Determine other channels/methods to grow outbound sales pipeline.
- Coordinate with Marketing team to oversee execution of co-developed marketing strategies.
- Identify and attend industry events.
- Assume Account Management duties post-sale
- Will report to the Head of Business Development.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Director that has a passion for sales along with the following:
- Established track record and out-performance in the sale of custom digital products or services working alongside globally distributed teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- 5+ years of experience in a similar sales role
- Ability to work independently and manage your own work streams
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Trello); sales tools (e.g., SalesForce); marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp); web platforms (e.g., WordPress) and social media sites (e.g., LinkedIn)
- A ârolodexâ of potential client targets
The compensation and benefits are as follows:
- Full-time, W-2 employment position.
- Compensation will consist of roughly 50% base salary and 50% commission and performance-based bonusesâcommensurate with experience.
- Work from home/remote work opportunitiesâSoHo NYC office for those who prefer to work in an office environment; candidate must be NYC-based or be willing to relocate.

Program Manager
Skytz Software Labsis a leading New York-based product agency looking for a talented individual to join the team in the role of Program Manager. We are a 64-person team that has designed and developed over 250 products. We have a wide-range of capabilities that has seen us create products that span health and wellness, on-demand marketplaces, mobile gaming, IoT and VR/AR.
As a Program Manager (PM) you are responsible for leading a product team of designers and engineers to bring our clientâs ideas to life. As a PM you will be tasked with the day-to-day management and direction of client projects shepherding them through all phases of the engagement: from discovery and design through to development and testing and finally culminating in the deployment to one or more app stores.
The day-to-day responsibilities of a PM at Skytz Software Labsinclude:
- Managing all client communication and providing our clients with timely updates on the progress of their project along with answering any queries that may come up.
- Working with the client, alongside a UX designer, to create a set of user stories to define the vision of the product in the form of wireframes.
- Managing the budget for the project and ensuring that any issues are identified early, communicated to the client.
- Creating clickable prototypes of proposed wireframes and designs using tools such as Invision.
- Working with a UI designer to create and present design concepts based off wireframes and then helping the client choose the best one for their product.
- Managing the development process using Agile methodologies to define clear milestones and ensuring that the we deliver high-quality, polished builds to the client on-time.
- Triaging bugs and incoming design changes and working with the development team on a daily basis to ensure that we build a product that exceeds the clientâs expectations.
- Shepherding the created product out of development and testing through final deployment to the app store including the creation of app store metadata, management of the app store approval process and finally deployment into the app store.
We are looking for detail-oriented PMs that have a passion for client service along with the following:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Established track record of client services work in digital products working alongside globally distributed teams.
- 3-5 years experience leading software development projects using Agile methodologies (mobile experience is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and manage their own work streams and that of their project teams to effectively meet deadlines.
- Experience using tools such as Trello, Invision, Sketch and Photoshop, GitHub, XCode and Android Studio are a plus.
- Comfortable working remotely.
Software Engineer
Skytz Software Labsis a leading New York-based product agency looking for a talented individual to join the team in the role of a Software Engineer. We are a 64-person team that has designed and developed over 250 products. We have a wide-range of capabilities that has seen us create products that span health and wellness, on-demand marketplaces, mobile gaming, IoT and VR/AR.
Skytz Software Labsis currently looking for extremely smart and talented people to join our core team in New York City. The select individuals will be comfortable with designing and implementing mobile applications from beginning to production while working semi-autonomously.
If youâve got the following skills weâd like to talk to you:
- Proven software engineering talents in Objective-C, Android and/or .NET.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of mobile app architecture.
- Clear communication in code and in writing.
- Knowledge of iPhone, Android and Windows Phone mobile development platforms.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering, or 4+ year relevant work experience
- Minor in Business Administration and/or Marketing, or 2+ years professional experience in Business and/or Product Managment
- Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Proficiency in, at least, one modern object-oriented language such as Objective C, Java, C++ or C#
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Proven ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
- Experience in communicating with customers, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
We are still a small, agile team and as a developer you will have the ability to influence the design and development of nearly everything that we build. You will have to be very comfortable with ownership and management of your projects and can balance coding and product management. As such, an ideal candidate will have the potential to develop into an engineering leadership and management role over time as we grow.
UX and/or UI Designer
Skytz Software Labsis a leading New York-based product agency looking for a talented individual to join the team in the role of a UX and/or UI Designer. We are a 64-person team that has designed and developed over 250 products. We have a wide-range of capabilities that has seen us create products that span health and wellness, on-demand marketplaces, mobile gaming, IoT and VR/AR.
As a UX/UI Designer you are responsible for creating the user experience and user interface that will bring our clientâs ideas to life. As a UX and/or UI Designer you will be tasked with the producing all design resources of client projects: from user stories and wireframes through to final UI and icons, and finally culminating in supporting quality assurance testing and app store visual assets for deployment.
The day-to-day responsibilities of a UX/UI Designer at Skytz Software Labsinclude:
- Managing client and project team communication and providing our clients and the project team with timely updates on the progress of their deliverables along with answering any queries that may come up.
- Working with the client, alongside a Program Manager, to create a set of user stories to define the vision of the product in the form of wireframes.
- Creating clickable prototypes of proposed wireframes and designs using tools such as Invision.
- Producing final design resources, which shall take the form of a well-organized, layered Photoshop or Sketch file representing the final UI design of the product and shall be used by the engineering team in the development of the product.
- Designing a logo and/or app icon for the product as necessary.
- Working together with the client and Program Manager on publishing the product to various app stores by providing creative assets such as screenshots and ad creatives.
- Supporting development and quality assurance testing as necessary to ensure that the developed product meets the goals and expectations of the original design.
We are looking for creative, product-oriented designers that have a passion for user experience design and client service along with the following:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Established track record of client services work in digital products working alongside globally distributed teams.
- 3-5 years experience in user experience and/or user interface design (mobile experience is a plus)
